Hitched.co.uk ties the knot with 24/7 Real Media in exclusive deal
2nd July 2007: Hitched.co.uk, the UK’s largest wedding web site, today announces the appointment of 24/7 Real Media as its integrated digital marketing provider. 24/7 Real Media replaces AdLink as sole provider of technology and media services to Hitched.
Hitched will be using 24/7 Real Media’s Open AdStream® product, which allows publishers to deliver advertisements across their sites. Open AdStream will enable Hitched to maximise return on its inventory whilst at the same time reducing its overall costs.
The adoption of Open AdStream will ensure visitors to the Hitched site receive intelligent, targeted adverts based on their profile, benefiting consumers, advertisers and Hitched itself. For example, a 30 year-old bride-to-be visiting the Hitched web site will be served adverts specifically relevant to her profile, be they for wedding photographers, hen nights or beauty treatments.
